VIS Journey
Our tagline is also the journey every child takes here. It starts with how they learn, grows through who they become, and shows in how they lead.
Our stance
Long before IB candidacy, we were a constructivist, progressive school, where children build their own understanding by questioning, investigating and reflecting. The IB framework gives that a global standard. It didn't change who we are. It sharpened it.
Can the student find the right answer?
Do they truly understand it, and can they apply it in familiar and unfamiliar situations?

Developing disciplinary depth, interdisciplinary understanding, independent research, and meaningful action through six subject groups, TOK and CAS

Our journey
We opened in 2001 with eight children. Every move since has given them more room to ask bigger questions.
Our RISE values

Eight children, a sandpit and one belief: children learn best by doing.
As more families joined, we grew into a full school. For seventeen years we learned on two campuses.
A spacious home for richer, hands-on learning, with more room to explore, build and experiment.
